The tournament is based on Lee's retreat from Gettysburg. After regrouping their forces, Lee and Meade look to face off again on the Falling Wates map west of Gettysburg. In these 10 scenarios, the weather has finally cleared and given Lee and Meade a chance to inflict a decisive blow. In attempts to get the upper hand, 9 smaller engagements (Battles 1 - 9 ) will take place around Falling Waters. These 9 battle will determine the setup for the final "BIG TEN" tenth battle. All of the casualties from the first 9 battles, similar to a campaign battle, will carry over into the final fight.

Lee's approach: Look to take the advantage back after his defeat at Gettysburg. He is looking to strike a blow to the Union force on Northern territory. Maybe this will gain some foreign recognition or maybe a peace settlement for President Davis and the South?
Meade's approach: Now that his army has regrouped and the weather has finally cleared, he is looking to make the final blow to crush the ANV and bring an end to the war. Knowing that Lee's forces have just come off of a defeat and are trapped by the Potomac river, Meade is looking to give Lincoln and the nation the news they have desperately been waiting for......the surrender of the ANV., Gen. Lee and the Confederacy!
